Baton — TV Remote
The fastest way is the help chat inside the app — open the Help tab. It knows the app inside out and answers right away.
Or write to us directly: support@baton.tel. We read every message. When writing about a problem, it helps to mention your iPhone model, your iOS version, and whether your TV is a Roku TV or a separate Roku player.
The phone and the TV have to be on the same Wi-Fi network — that is the one requirement. Check that the TV is on and connected to Wi-Fi, and that the phone is not on cellular data or a guest network. When the app first asked to see devices on your network, it needed a Yes; you can change that in the iPhone's Settings, under Privacy & Security → Local Network. On hotel or guest networks that keep devices apart, use "Type the TV address" in the app.
Roku® TVs and Roku streaming players. Other brands are not supported.
Connect headphones to your phone, then turn on "Listen on your phone" on the remote screen. The TV goes quiet and the sound plays on your phone. Take the headphones out and the sound goes back to the TV.
Yes. No accounts, no purchases, no ads.
What the app collects (very little, and only with your consent) is described in the privacy policy. To ask for a copy of data related to your support messages, or to have it deleted, write to support@baton.tel — we will confirm within a few days. Anonymous usage statistics can be switched off right in the app's Settings, which also deletes the app's random identifier.
